To install the Chrome extension for Google Calendar:
Go to the plug-in page in the Chrome Store on your desktop or mobile device.
On the "Virtual Office Meetings for Google" page that opens, click Add to Chrome, and confirm to add the plug-in as a Chrome extension.
The plug-in is now automatically enabled for use with Google Calendar in Chrome.
In your Chrome browser, open Google Calendar.
In Google Calendar, create a new calendar event or edit an existing event.
From within the calendar event, click the 8x8 Login button to open an 8x8 login prompt.
At the prompt, log in with your 8x8 extension credentials, and confirm.
In your calendar event, click Add Video Meeting or Add Virtual Office Meeting to attach meeting info to the calendar event.
Your calendar event now shows a meeting URL that enables participants to join the attached meeting. Finish scheduling your meeting, changing the meeting title, inviting participant guests, and save.
On the 8x8 Virtual Office Meetings for Outlook page that opens, click Get it now, and confirm to associate the integration with your Office 365 account. If you are not logged in to Office 365, you are first prompted to log in. Upon confirming, you see an Office 365 page that confirms when the add-in has been successfully added to your account.
On the confirmation page, click the option to open the add-in in Outlook via Office 365.
In Outlook, go to your calendar. See how you can log in and create 8x8 Video Meetings using the integration!
From Office 365, open Outlook.
In your Outlook calendar, create a new calendar event or edit an existing event.
From within the calendar event:
As a Virtual Office user: Click the 8x8 Virtual Office Meetings icon in your calendar event header to open your 8x8 integration panel.
In the calendar event, click the option to log in to open an 8x8 login prompt.
At the prompt, log in with your usual 8x8 application credentials, and confirm.
In the calendar event, click the option to add a meeting to attach meeting info to the calendar event.
Your calendar event is populated with information that enables participants to join the attached meeting. Finish scheduling your meeting, invite participants, and save.
